Join EarthDance for a visit to New Roots Farm, where an “anti-profit” collective has operated the .3 acre urban farm in the Saint Louis Place neighborhood since 2004.  Their mission is social-justice driven, and they provide food to their north side neighbors through produce donations to a nearby womens shelter, and through sales at their farm stand and the North City Farmers Market.  New Roots’ farmers will lead a tour and discuss the techniques they use to build healthy soil on an urban lot.
