The one-week camp is $500 and includes a daily lunch and cooking materials. Students also receive printouts of all the recipes that they are taught to take home with them.

Kids are taught the art of cupcake decorating, how to bake breads, pizza and flatbreads and create peanut butter truffles. They learn pasta making, cheese tasting, sausage making, stuffing skills and how to make different condiments. The campers are also taught to make their favorite summertime drinks including lemonade, fruit punch, and smoothies not to mention the art of homemade ice cream.

All classes are taught at the L’Ecole Culinaire campus, 9811 South Forty Drive in Ladue. Class size is limited, so early registration is preferred. To register for this summer class log on to or call 314-264-1999.
