The 23rd ANNUAL ST LOUIS AFRICAN ARTS FESTIVAL 2014 is a family and community festival which features a MARKETPLACE with unique African artifacts, textiles, clothing and jewelry.  The FOOD COURT offers Authentic African cuisine among a large variety of menu items and the MAIN STAGE is live with performing artists.  Presenting local artists is an important component of the festival as it serves to proudly showcase the talent within our community and encourage our patrons to establish long-term relationships with these gifted individuals and groups.  Some of the festival events include CHILDREN'S VILLAGE activities, CULTURAL DEMONSTRATION and ACTIVITIES, and HEALTH VILLAGE with Medical Guest Speakers and Health Screenings.  The Festival Partner Activities are at the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Saint Louis Zoo, the St Louis Public Library and Missouri History Museum.  The festival was voted "Best Festival in St Louis in 2010 by the Riverfront Times"
