The Philly 5K will be held in conjunction with the Columbus Day Parade and Festival on Sunday, October 13th at 9:00am. The race begins and ends at historic Berra Park on the Hill. According to MMR the course has a total ascent of 134.51 ft and has a maximum elevation of 616.8 ft for more information please click (here). All proceeds go directly to The Philly Fund, which gives need-based scholarships to families with children who have ADHD. Each pre-registered participants will receive a custom designed commemorative t-shirt and coupon for lunch redeemable at the Columbus Day Festival. Please register online by October 11th, 2013.
Awards and Cash Prizes: There will be cash prizes for the top 3 male & female runners overall. In addition the top three finishers in the following age divisions: under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ will receive a medal.

Late Registration: Race Day Registration and Race Day Packet Pickup is between 7:30-8:30am at Berra Park: $30.
Parking & Street Closures: The Philly 5K Race starts and ends at Berra Park on the Hill. If you choose to drive, there will be plenty of free street parking available. Please try to carpool with your friends if possible. You can review the race course (here) to see what streets will be closed the day of the race. Please plan to arrive early. The Philly 5K starts promptly at 9:00 am
Philly 5K Rules: Joggers, walkers, and runners using jogging strollers please line up near the back of the start line. Big River Race Management assures us that your timing chip does not start until you have actually crossed the start line. To receive an accurate time make sure your race bib is clearly visible on the front of your body. Please note: pets (dogs), roller blades, skateboards, bikes, etc. are not allowed.
Emergency Information: The announcer and race officials will give you instructions. You can also look for information posted (here) on our facebook page. This event is rain or shine and no refunds will be issued if the event is delayed, altered or canceled.
