Come get strong for a good cause!  The Fitness Partner Inc. is holding a Fitness Challenge to benefit the Joshua Chamberlain Society, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping area veterans with critical combat injuries and the children of fallen servicemen and women.  This exercise event is designed to test the overall fitness level of participants as well as raise money for JCS Heroes.  The Challenge consists of pushups, erg rowing, medicine ball throw, sit-ups, and tire flipping. The goal is to perform as many repetitions as possible in one minute for each exercise (5 exercises x 1 minute per exercise= 5 minutes). There will be divisions for youth (under 18), adult non-competitive (male & females 18 & older who want to do it for fun), and adult competitive (18 & older competing for the title of fittest man & women).  Artists like Kelly Lemon will be present to sing the National Anthem, Marines in uniform will be on hand with a static display and vehicle, and there will be music, food, and beverages.
