In this class you will create beautiful patterned prints. You will learn to make your own stamps and stencils and learn about designing and printing repeating patterns. Prints can be artwork in and of themselves or can be used as a decorative element for a variety of projects. We will make art prints, and use our stamps and stencils to decorate stationary and furoshiki gift wrap. You will also learn how to print on fabric and be introduced to ways you can use your stamps for fun and unique gifts and home décor projects outside of class. You will also be able to bring in your own materials to print on. No printmaking or art experience is necessary. More advanced students will be able to create more advanced designs. For ages 18+.
