In the Midwest with Objects - Ladue News: Art Happenings

by Jessica Baran & Mary Jo Bang (jessicabaran.com)

Photography Studio: Saturday, September 20 & Sunday, September 28, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Exhibition: Sunday, October 5, noon - 4:00 pm

This open portrait studio invites members of the public to be photographed with their favorite object. Photographs taken will then be exhibited at the PXSTL site.

A design-build competition organized by the Pulitzer and the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, PXSTL has transformed a vacant lot across the street from the Pulitzer building into a destination in the heart of Grand Center with the temporary pavilion Lots, designed by Freecell Architecture. The Pulitzer has awarded thirteen community program grants of up to $1,500 to local individuals, groups, and organizations to fund programs that respond to Lots and activate the PXSTL site.
