Anatomical Drawing Workshop

Instructor: Vicki Friedman

Saturdays, May 3, 10 and 17

10:00am to 1:00pm

Non-Members: $70.00

Members: $60.00

Come and explore the world of art as applied to medicine and science! This workshop will allow the student to work "both sides" of the brain. As we explore anatomical drawing, we will study the drawing itself from an artistic perspective and the accuracy of the drawing from a medical, scientific and explanatory view. We will concentrate on graphite and vellum and later move into pen and ink techniques. We will focus on sensitivity to the subject matter and how you choose to translate that vision to others, while maintaining personal artistic expression.. always new, and exciting every time you draw since your audience is always changing.  No previous experience necessary- only the joy of drawing! For students ages 16+.

  • Starting Saturday, May 3rd, 2014, repeated every week on Saturday until Saturday, May 17, 2014 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
